The dangers of the "once-saved, always-saved" message (part III/conclusion)

We at Truth Ablaze believe in the doctrine of justification by faith and salvation by grace. We reject, however, the heretical teaching of unconditional eternal security (or once saved, always saved).

What does the Bible say about Eternal Security?

There are few topics that are as controversial as this one in our modern Christian world. Just the mere mention of eternal security (or "once-saved, always-saved, as it is commonly referred) will quickly incite powerful emotions on every side of the debate. Sadly, it is a source of much strife in our current climate. Nevertheless, we musn't ignore an issue just because it appears to be divisive. Now certainly our methods of exposition and exegesis of scriptural passages should be done with Christian charity. We are instructed to "speak the truth in love", but by all means....speak the truth!

This is by no means an exhaustive study on the subject, but it is our desire at Liberty Worship Center, to present you with conclusive evidence that the doctrine of "once-saved-always-saved" (henceforth we'll abbreviate the term with the acronym o.s.a.s) cannot be found or supported in scripture.

Perhaps you have been raised in a church or currently attend a church that teaches this doctrine. We ask you to prayerfully consider this scriptural presentation, and examine this teaching in the light of the Holy Scriptures. It is not church by-laws, denominational handbooks, or traditions of men that we will be judged by, but rather the "incorruptible seed of the word of God." With that in mind, let's begin the study. Just click on the links below and see for yourself. God bless you, as you study His word!
